Patna: Bihar Legislative Assembly elections 2025 concluded on Tuesday with the second phase of polling recording a historic voter turnout, which surpassed the figures from the first phase. The state witnessed an overall provisional turnout of 66.91 per cent, the highest since the first state polls in 1951. Women voters significantly outnumbered men, with a turnout of 71.6 per cent for women compared to 62.8 per cent for men across both phases.
The second and final phase of voting, held on Tuesday, saw a provisional turnout of 67.14 per cent till 5 PM, covering 122 constituencies across 20 districts. This surpassed the 65.08 per cent recorded in the first phase on November 6.
