The oldest fine leather goods maison is bringing a slice of midcentury cultural history to New York with an installation dedicated to Saul Steinberg at its Fifth Avenue flagship. The showcase, which runs through February 2026, celebrates the artist’s work while underscoring Delvaux’s ongoing dialogue with art and design.

At the heart of the installation is a facsimile of “The Cocktail Party” from the Romanian-American artist’s celebrated mural series “The Americans,” originally commissioned for the 1958 Brussels World’s Fair. That same year marked a milestone for Delvaux as well — the launch of its signature Brillant bag, a design that has become synonymous with the brand’s craftsmanship and elegance.

The mural will be accompanied by additional original works lent by the Saul Steinbe
