The Texas Rangers have announced the major league coaching staff for 2025.

New manager Skip Schumaker is bringing back Luis Urueta as bench coach, the position which Urueta held under Bruce Bochy last year. Urueta was Schumaker’s bench coach during Schumaker’s two seasons as manager of the Miami Marlins in 2023-24.

Justin Viele will be the lead hitting coach. He spent the 2025 season as the non-lead hitting coach for the Rangers. Alex Cintron will also be a hitting coach for the Rangers in 2026. He played nine seasons in the majors, and has been on the Houston Astros coaching staff since 2017, and has served as a hitting coach for them since 2020.
