Tarik Skubal of the Detroit Tigers has won the American League Cy Young Award for the second year in a row, while Paul Skenes of the Pittsburgh Pirates has won the National League Cy Young Award.
Skubal received 26 first place votes and four second place votes. Garrett Crochet of the Boston Red Sox finished second, garnering the four first place votes that did not go to Skubal, along with the other 26 second place votes.
Hunter Brown of the Houston Astros finished third, appearing on 29 of 30 ballots and getting 24 third place votes. Max Friend of the Yankees finished fourth, also appearing on 29 of 30 ballots and getting 6 third place votes. Bryan Woo finished fifth, appearing on 21 ballots.
