BANGOR -- Bangor police are investigating a suspected act of criminal mischief at a downtown Bangor business.

According to the Bangor Police Department, they received a report of a large plate glass window that had been damaged at 115 main street around 11 a.m. on Monday.

The building is the home of the Stage Door Bar, operated by the Penobscot Theatre Company. The theatre company confirmed they filed the report.

Just last month, another downtown business also experienced window damage, raising concerns from local business owners.

"I mean it really caught everybody by surprise it happened I think right around 11, I didn't even hear anything or see anything, all of a sudden there's a hole in the window, it's like really crazy," said Jeff Robinson, Owner of Top Shelf Coins and Comics. "
