DAVIESS COUNTY, Ken. (WFIE) - The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office says multiple people were arrested for a drug trafficking operation through a search warrant.

Officials say the warrant was for the home of Corby Newton in the 3000 block of Veach Road in Owensboro.

They say upon searching the home, detectives seized “trafficking amounts” of meth, along with marijuana, digital scales, pills, syringes and other drug paraphernalia.

Authorities say multiple people in the home also had active arrest warrants.

Those arrested include 30-year-old Corby Newton, 36-year-old Charles Buchanan, 29-year-old Darah-Jo Thrasher and 20-year-old Angel Duke.

The four have been charged with a list of drug trafficking charges and are lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center.
