STATEWIDE, Colo. (KKTV) - Coloradans could see full SNAP food assistance funding for November as soon as Thursday, as the federal government moves towards reopening, according to the Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS).
The U.S. House passed a bill Wednesday night that would end the country’s longest shutdown on Day 43. All that is left now is for President Trump to sign that bill to reopen the government. Trump is expected to sign the bill Wednesday night.
CDHS said the state is working to deliver 100% of the November SNAP payments to the approximately 600,000 residents.
