PORTLAND, Ore. — The downtown Portland Nike store has been completely redone after being closed for renovations for roughly 18 months.
"We're happy to be back,” Nike Senior Creative Director for North American Retail, Design, and Experiences Tim Rupp said. “We're happy to be in Portland and back in a focused way in the interest of our local athletes and our local consumers."
The store has a strong emphasis on running.
"We have had multiple concepts over the past years,” Rupp said. “In the past 18 months or so, we were able to sharpen and get really tight on what is right for the consumer, and what is right of the consumer here and that's why we landed on leading with running in this store, and really being proud of that history, being proud of our innovations in that space."
