Kenny “ Babyface ” Edmonds’ life and career will be explored in an upcoming documentary directed by Chris Moukarbel, who helmed Gaga: Five Foot Two and Cypher .

Backed by HarbourView Equity Partners and produced by Kenya Barris, the film will examine Babyface’s collaborations with the likes of Toni Braxton, Whitney Houston, Bobby Brown, Eric Clapton, Mary J. Blige, Michael Jackson, Boyz II Men, Mariah Carey, Lil Wayne, Beyoncé, Madonna, and SZA.

According to a press release, the doc will feature interviews with the 13-time Grammy winner where he “reveals how he channeled his own personal heartbreaks into creating the soundtrack for millions of love stories around the world.” The film will also include interviews with many of Babyface’s collaborators, his “never-before-seen person
