More than four months after Angela McDonald lost her son after a hit-and-run in Philly's Cobb Creek neighborhood , the retired Philadelphia cop is still hoping for an arrest in the case.

"It’s very hard being a grieving parent and reaching out to people for answers and help and nobody is answering," she said.

Mark McDonald, 32, was brutally struck by a car on his way home by a driver who did not stop and render aid.

The incident happened at the intersection of Delancey and 58th streets on July 31.

Mark was taken to the hospital, but he died a day later.

In an exclusive NBC10 interview, Angela said her late son was looking to follow in her footsteps and become a cop.
