LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The holidays are right around the corner, with the Thanksgiving holiday just over two weeks away.

Statistics show that the state of Arkansas ranks as the most food-insecure in the nation, and according to the Arkansas Foodbank, about one in five households in the state don't know where their next meal will come from.

The need has been even more critical this year as we approach the holiday season, and thousands of Arkansans have been without critical SNAP benefits due to the government shutdown.
