LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - President Donald Trump signed the Congress-approved funding bill on Wednesday evening.

One item within the appropriation bill was the regulation of THC amounts allowed in products.

“So we’re not in panic mode yet,” CEO/Founder of Cannabuzz Annie Rouse said.

The cannabis industry has been on the rise since the legalization of marijuana both medically and recreationally, beginning in the 2010s.

Rouse is the founder of Cannabuzz. It is a THC drink infusion bar in Lexington. She says she entered the cannabinoid industry through research in 2009.

“We as businesses all created markets around that and have invested a lot of time and energy into that and took great risk,” Rouse said.
