New Delhi, Nov 13: In a major development into the Delhi Blast Case near Red Fort, the DNA tests have confirmed that Dr Umar Nabi was driving the car at the time of explosion that exploded near Delhi’s Red Fort on Nov 10 earlier this week, police sources confirmed on Thursday. The forensic match was recognised after samples collected from the blast site were analysed alongside DNA from Umar’s mother, collected on Tuesday.
Umar, resident of Koil village in district Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir, was identified as a key member of a “white collar” terror module which was busted just a few hours before the blast.
