TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - Two people were injured when an air tank exploded near Benson on Wednesday, Nov. 12.

The Cochise County Sheriff’s Office said it happened around 7 p.m. at a farm on Dusty Quail Run in Pomerene.

The CCSO said there was no fire, but a man was hit in the head and neck with shrapnel. A juvenile also suffered lacerations to their head.

At least one of the patients was taken to a Tucson hospital by helicopter.
