GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - Many people are expressing concern, and others are seeking more information on the progress of the South Bridge Connector project underway right now in Brown County.
Once finished, drivers will have a new route, passing over the Fox River and traveling between interstates 41 and 43.
Since construction started this past spring, Ann Patteson has been among the many sharing concerns over the design of the South Bridge Connector project, especially along Old Plank Road, which is likely to see an increase in traffic and noise.
“Currently, people walk on there, walk their dogs, bicycle, all of that, is going to end, and there’s going to be a serious risk, and there’s been no attempt at mitigation for the safety of Old Plank Road,” says Patteson.
