OMAHA, Neb. —

On Veterans Day, we give thanks to those who have put their lives on the line to serve our country.

But we often forget about their lives after service.

Serving others has always been a part of Daniel Schultz's life. Today, he carries that out by providing cleaning services to people in Omaha. But his days of service started 20 years ago when he joined the Air Force.

"It was after 9/11, so I was one of the kids who saw the towers fall while I was in high school," said Daniel Schultz, veteran and owner of The Cleaning Authority in Omaha.

During his career, he started a family, raising six girls with his wife.

"Without the military, I wouldn't be able to have my family. They were very good to me in supporting and allowing me to support my family," said Schultz.
