Flooding could hit several parts of the UK on Friday as forecasters issued amber warnings for rain and strong winds as a result of Storm Claudia.
Storm Claudia is affecting the Canary Island currently but is expected to bring up to 80mm of rain, with deep floodwater causing a danger to life, travel disruption and possible power cuts.
The warnings are in place from noon until the end of the day and cover the Midlands, South West, South East and East of England. New Feature
