HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Some early clouds and sun this morning will give way to a fairly sunny afternoon. We’ll be looking at highs from the upper 60s northeast to the mid 70s out west. These are all well-above average for today, but record highs should be safe. On the other hand, many will see tied or broken record highs on Friday. It’ll be a mainly sunny day as high temperatures reach the mid to upper 70s and lower 80s. Some of the record highs across the area include Grand Island (71°), Hastings (74°), Lincoln (75°), North Platte (78°) , and Kearney (81°). Of all of these, Kearney will be the toughest to break. But all of the others should get broken tomorrow. Low temperatures tonight will be in the mid 30s to the mid 40s. They’ll be even milder Friday night in the 40s and lower 50s.
