A Mega Millions lottery ticket sold at an Iowa convenience store won $3 million in the Nov. 11 drawing.
The ticket is the first big win since Mega Millions revamped the lottery game in April, according to the Iowa Lottery. It matched the first five numbers, but missed the Mega Ball, making it one number away from claiming the estimated $965 million jackpot. This is the game's largest jackpot since December 2024.

Kwik Star at 1200 Chatham Ave. in Norwalk sold the Mega Million ticket.
It was one of three tickets in the country to claim a prize of $3 million or more from the drawing. Another $3 million was won from a ticket sold in New York and $5 million was won in Arizona.
