BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - A 32-year-old woman is behind bars after authorities say she had sexual intercourse with a 13-year-old boy.

According to the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office, Megan Moton was arrested on two counts of carnal knowledge of a juvenile and one count of indecent behavior with juveniles.

Deputies say in November 2024, they received a complaint from the parent of the teen saying they found text messages between the boy and Moton. The messages allegedly contained inappropriate conversations which suggested the two had sexual intercourse.

Officials say the parent confronted the teen and told deputies that he said him and Moton had sex months before on two separate occasions at her apartment. According to the probable cause report, this happened once before October 2024
