Chennai, Nov 13: Director Harikumaran’s Tamil film Kinaru, which has already bagged six international awards, is all set to release in theatres on November 14, coinciding with Children’s Day.

Produced by Suriya Narayanan and Vinod Sekar, Kinaru is presented by Madras Stories, the banner known for championing emerging filmmakers through acclaimed titles like Burkha and Lineman.

A celebrity premiere held recently in Chennai saw several film industry stars and about 30 children enjoy the screening. The audience lauded the film’s heartfelt storytelling and visual appeal.

Kinaru has earned awards for Best Film, Cinematography, and Direction at major festivals including the Pegasus Film Festival 2024, Accolade Global Film Competition, and IndieFEST Film Aw
