The secret's out that Fleur de Lis Pizza is returning for a spring 2026 opening, but there's now a sign missing from the restaurant's exterior.

The pizzeria at 5655 Government St. posted to Facebook around 10 a.m. Thursday announcing the kidnapping of a vintage Jax Beer sign, a century-old company that originated in New Orleans .

The red and orange antique sign was installed on the front of the restaurant's iconic pink exterior. It's unclear when the sign was installed, but it wasn't up on Monday morning.

A reward of $1,500 is being offered to whoever can return it, thief or not — that, and a "clean conscience," the post wrote.

Fleur de Lis Pizza originally opened in 1946, closed in 2022 and is set to reopen in 2026 after completing construction and renovation. It was among Baton R
