NEWPORT, R.I. (WLNE) — A Portsmouth pizza restaurant manager was arrested Tuesday, accused of secretly video recording employees in the shop’s bathroom.
The suspect was in Newport County District Court Thursday morning, charged with video voyeurism.
Michael Boone was arraigned on the charge after police say an employee discovered a cell phone in the bathroom of North End Pizzeria .
Portsmouth police arrested Boone after he was allegedly seen entering the bathroom just before and after the complaining employee had used the facilities.
He was arrested at his home after police arrived with a search warrant for the phone, which they say was found in his possession.
