A 21-year-old woman was sentenced to time served, two months, in jail and two years' probation after pleading guilty to a lesser charge for shooting her father.

Cheyenne L. Randolph received the sentence Wednesday from Macomb County Circuit Court Judge James Maceroni for shooting Charles Rucker, 66 at the time, in February 2024 during an argument in an apartment on Hubbard Street in Mount Clemens. She fired four shots, and Rucker was struck twice, leaving him with a permanent limp, he said.
