PITTSBURGH — Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman has been released from a hospital in Pittsburgh after suffering a fall early Thursday morning.
According to a spokesman, Fetterman fell while on an early morning walk near his home in Braddock. That's a suburb of Pittsburgh in Allegheny County.
The spokesman says Fetterman was taken to a hospital in Pittsburgh as a precaution.
In a statement posted to X, formerly known as Twitter, the spokesman said: "Upon evaluation, it was established he had a ventricular fibrillation flare-up that led to Senator Fetterman feeling light-headed, falling to the ground and hitting his face with minor injuries. Senator Fetterman had this to say: ‘If you thought my face looked bad before, wait until you see it now!’"
