Frederick's chief of police, Jason Lando, is leaving to take the chief of police job in Pittsburgh, a spokesperson for the Frederick Police Department confirmed on Thursday.

Lando was announced as the choice of Pittsburgh’s mayor elect, Corey O’Connor, on Thursday.
