If you’re in Hanover Friday, you may want to look up to see a pretty big infrastructure project come together.

The Town of Hanover says the water tower tank will be raised up onto the top of the new tower, if the weather allows for it.

There will be construction and safety signs posted to ensure people can watch the tank go up safely.

There is no set time the tank will be raised. The Town says there are too many contributing factors to say exactly when, but they do note it will be more like an all-day event.

People have been watching the project come together, positing on social media photos of the painting of the word ‘Hanover’ and many expressing excitement and their intention to bring the kids to watch the tank go up,

The new water tower is intended to support growth in the town. P
