SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - SIMPCO/SRTS, based out of Sioux City is planning to grow across four Northwest Iowa counties.

Over the next 15 years, the Siouxland Regional Transit System and Simpco have plans to expand their Sioux City bus station and construct new satellite facilities in Le Mars by 2028, Cherokee by 2030, Onawa by 2035, and Ida Grove by 2040.

Pearson says that the facilities will help to double the lifespan of the vehicles they have and allow for further expansion in those areas of Siouxland with a more diverse fleet.
