Delhi Police on Thursday issued a detailed advisory asking passengers travelling through major transport hubs in the National Capital to arrive well ahead of their scheduled departures in view of heightened security arrangements across the city.

According to the advisory, passengers using the railway network are urged to reach their respective stations at least one hour before the scheduled departure of their trains. Metro commuters are advised to plan their journeys so they arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the expected departure of their trains. Similarly, those flying out of Delhi airport have been asked to reach the terminal three hours before the scheduled departure of international flights.
