Thursday in the UNI-Dome on Y99.3 Saint Ansgar beat Wapsie Valley 31-7 in the semifinals. The Warriors finished the season with an amazing 11-1 record.

In the other Class A semifinal MMCRU shutout West Sioux 28-0.

In Class 4A Pella topped Sergeant Bluff-Luton 35-14 and Xavier came from behind to edge Newton 31-24.

Friday in Class 1A Grundy Center plays Regina and West Lyon faces South Hardin. In 5A Dowling plays Valley and then Waukee Northwest will play Iowa City Liberty in the nightcap.

Class 2A and 3A play are Saturday in the UNI-Dome.
