Residents of Carbonear and areas north including Victoria, Perry’s Cove and as far as Ochre Pit Cove are without power this hour.

The electricity was lost around 10:30 this morning.

Newfoundland Power says the cause of the unplanned outage is under investigation.

There is no immediate estimated time for restoration.
