BOONE — Gov. Kim Reynolds said Iowans need to be OK with government services being delivered differently if they want to see their property taxes lowered.

Reynolds, a Republican, has been holding roundtable discussions around the state where she's heard from businesses and local officials about ways to change the property tax system.

Speaking to reporters on Friday, Nov. 14 in Boone, Reynolds praised local governments for finding ways to cut costs by sharing services. And, she said, Iowans "have to be a part of this solution as well."
