Gov. Ned Lamont started to lay out his vision for a third term Friday, crisscrossing the state on a tour to publicly launch his reelection campaign.

During stops in Bridgeport, New Haven, New London, Hartford, and Waterbury, Lamont talked about job training, electricity prices, and healthcare costs, indicating his focus will be on affordability.

“Just wait for the next four years,” Lamont said during a walking tour in New Haven while touting housing growth and economic development.

If Lamont is reelected and serves a full third term, his 12 years in office would make him the second-longest-serving governor in Connecticut history.
