FLAGSTAFF (AZFamily) — Arizona will be getting hit with a set of storms this weekend into next week. With the expected incoming weather, many people across the high country are hoping for snow.
Friday in Flagstaff it was beautiful blue skies and just a little bit chilly. Northern Arizona has been enjoying above-average fall temperatures so far this year, but that’s about to change this weekend.
“Yeah the upper 60s and we’re looking at high temperatures in the 40 by next week,” said Megan Taylor with National Weather Service Flagstaff. “So we’re looking at a 25 degree plus temperature change.”
She said the San Francisco Peaks will see most of the snow this weekend while Flagstaff gets rain, but Flagstaff has its best chance for its first snow and possibly the first full inch of snow nex
