HIGHMOUNT, N.Y. — The Belleayre Mountain Ski Center plans to open for the season to passholders on Friday, Nov. 21, and to the general public on Saturday, Nov. 22, and Sunday, Nov. 23.
Passholders can meet Belleayre’s new General Manager, Alex Sines, and other key staff on Friday, Nov. 21, at 1 p.m. Free finger foods and light snacks will be available while supplies last.
Belleayre will then close midweek and reopen on the Friday after Thanksgiving. The state-run ski center said that with favorable conditions on Monday, it fired up its snow guns lining Dot Nebel and Seneca.
“While organic flurries danced, an artificial blizzard was manufactured to paint a clearer, snowier picture,” a press release said. “Now, it is time!”
