UPDATE 2:24 p.m. Nov. 14, 2025 Arizona Department of Public Safety officials have identified the driver accused of barreling more than 100 mph down State Route 347 this month before his arrest in city limits on suspicion of DUI and reckless driving.
DPS spokesperson Raul Garcia said troopers arrested 31-year-old George Clemente Guillen of Phoenix after clocking him at 104 mph around 3:30 a.m. Nov. 1. A Highway Patrol trooper working on the Gila River Indian Community used LiDAR to measure the speed as Guillen’s southbound vehicle, what looks like a red Dodge Charger, weaved around slower drivers near Casa Blanca Road.
The car continued into the city of Maricopa still traveling roughly twice the posted limit, according to DPS. The trooper stopped the vehicle on John Wayne Parkway and
