HILLSDALE COUNTY, Mich. (WILX) -A 19-year-old Jonesville man died Friday morning after his vehicle left the roadway, crashing into a body of water near Homer Road.

The Hillsdale County Sheriff’s office said that they were dispatched to the 9000 block of Homer Rd around 9:25 a.m. on Friday, after getting reports that a car had crashed into a body of water.

The sheriff’s office said Dakota Wesley Osborne was driving the vehicle at the time of the crash and that he was later transported to Henry Ford Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The sheriff’s office dive team was called to help with the investigation.
