GAUTIER, Miss. (WLOX) - The City of Gautier announced Carlos A. Moulds’ appointment as its new City Manager Friday.

As City Manager, Moulds will oversee the City’s seven departments and 134 full-time employees, leading the day-to-day operations affecting residents, businesses, and visitors.

Moulds has held positions in public service, and worked in human resources with the City of Virginia Beach and more recently, Huntington Ingalls Industries.

According to city officials, his extensive background and strategic leadership abilities make him an excellent choice to navigate the challenges and economic development opportunities facing the City of Gautier.

Mayor Casey Vaughn said he looks forward to working with Mould as he starts in his new role.
