RICHMOND, Texas — Former Houston Rockets player Patrick Beverley was arrested in Fort Bend County on a felony assault charge.
Officials with the Fort Bend County District Attorney’s Office confirm that Beverley was arrested on Friday on a charge of Family Violence Assault – Impeding Breath/Circulation.
At this point, we don’t know the details of exactly what he’s accused of doing. As soon as we get those details, we’ll add them here.
Bond in his case was set at $40,000.
Beverley played for the Rockets for five seasons from 2012 through 2017. After Houston, he played for the Los Angeles Clippers, Minnesota Timberwolves, Los Angeles Lakers, Chicago Bulls, Philadelphia 76ers, and the Milwaukee Bucks.
