(WNDU) - The firearm deer hunting season kicks off Saturday both in the state of Michigan and Indiana.

This is the first time since 2014 the ‘season opener’ falls on a Saturday.

There are some changes to the rules here in Indiana, this year.

Americans have enjoyed hunting for centuries, and surely it also comes with various kinds of regulations.

If you’ve been yearning for the firearm deer hunting season there are some changes you should know about.

“It’s like a big holiday in Michigan for a lot of people,” said Tevin Tomlinson the field officer for the Indiana DNR.

Firearm deer hunting season is back in Michiana.

If you have a valid hunting license in Michigan or Indiana, you can hunt deer with your guns, from November 15th to 30th.
