KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — UPDATE:

Crews have containment on the fires, and one lane of traffic is now open on Flat Creek Road.

Several departments are assisting Sevier County Fire and Rescue.

ORIGINAL:

Around 4:08 p.m., Sevier County Fire and Rescue received a call concerning multiple grass fires along the area of Flat Creek Road and Hattie Branch Road.

While units were responding, the call was upgraded to a structure fire and multiple grass fires.

Personnel are still on the scene, and Flat Creek Road between Jessie Road and Sims Road is shut down, according to SCFR.
