FARGO — U.S. Rep. Julie Fedorchak, R-N.D., says she is ready to get back to work after the federal government shutdown.
Her comments come as a major vote is expected next week in the U.S. House on whether to force the release of all case files surrounding the late sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.
House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., plans to hold a House vote next week on a measure mandating the full disclosure of Justice Department files related to Epstein.
Fedorchak said she supports that vote as a bipartisan group of lawmakers is pushing the Justice Department to release thousands of pages of records.
In an interview with WDAY News, Fedorchak said she supports full transparency.
