Another Saturday, another loss for South Carolina. That has been the theme of the Gamecocks’ 2025 season. Shane Beamer tried fixes, especially on the offensive side. He fired his O-line coach and OC, but he’s yet to get replacements. However, the head coach has a timeline in his head for that.
The Gamecocks fired OL coach Lonnie Teasley in October, and OC Mike Shula got the axe after the 14-30 loss against the Rebels earlier this month. Sportswriter David Cloninger shed light on Beamer’s plans to recruit two additional staff members. As per Cloninger, Beamer is “certainly hoping to have two new staffers in place soon after the Clemson game.” While the names of the replacements are not public yet, we can infer that the revelation comes after the head coach decided to fire Teasley
