Prime Minister Mark Carney is doing his best to make sure no Conservative government takes power in British Columbia.

In the national project crapshoot, NDP Premier David Eby has scored four big approvals, including two new ones this week.

Alberta has only one — the Pathways initiative — and zero in the second tranche announced Thursday.

By pure coincidence, of course, Carney arrived with a B.C. project bonanza two days before Eby faces a party leadership review in Victoria.

The PM made the announcement in Terrace on Thursday. He could have done it in Quebec or Ontario, which also got projects.

But no, this was David Eby survival day, courtesy of Ottawa.
