CIRCLEVILLE — Circleville Police responded to 19 calls for service on Thursday, November 13, ranging from domestic disturbances and noise complaints to traffic stops and an arrest following an alarm drop on U.S. 23.

The first call of the day came just after 1:30 a.m. on W. Water Street , where officers investigated a report of domestic trouble. The situation was checked and found to be okay. Minutes later, police were dispatched to Linden Lane for a noise complaint, which did not result in a report.

At 2:56 a.m. , officers responded to an alarm drop on U.S. 23 , which led to an arrest , marking one of the more serious incidents of the early morning hours.

Mid-morning, police handled an alarm drop involving fire and EMS on E. Ohio Street , which was cleared without issue.
