Dylan Grant went to work for Rutgers Friday, tallying a career-high 28 points as the Scarlet Knights fought off Lehigh 84-72 to improve to 3-0.
Rutgers got the sophomore forward downhill in a variety of ways – in transition, through ball screens and in isolation sets. He shot 9-of-15 from the field and 9-of-10 from the free-throw line, looking very much like the go-to guy head coach Steve Pikiell hoped he would be when prioritizing bringing him back this past offseason.
