CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- Earlier this year, the Charlottesville Police Department held its first-ever firearm safety and buyback event, and after what they call a strong turnout, the department is bringing it back.
The event will take place next Saturday, November 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Mt. Zion First African Baptist Church. CPD says the event is open to everyone in the community, even if you don’t own a firearm or don’t have one to turn in.
