ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - A teacher at Starr Elementary School pleaded guilty to harrassment on Wednesday in connection with stalking an 11-year-old student.

Dylan Robert Dukes, 27, wrote over sixty love letters and gave cards, gift cards, ornaments, pictures and “unwanted hugs” to an 11-year-old girl, which made her feel uncomfortable, according to arrest warrants.

He also joined her church after realizing she would no longer be a student at the school, officials said.

Detectives surveyed Duke’s classroom and found many pictures of the child in his desk. The pictures were not sexual in any nature, the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office said.
