Three suspected hare coursers were found hiding in a barn by police. Officers received multiple reports of hare coursing near Warboys and Chatteris.

They came across a vehicle which made off. The three men inside the car were later found hiding in a barn, before being detained and interviewed at the scene.

A Cambridgeshire Police spokesperson said: "The vehicle was seized along with the five dogs that were suspected to be used in this illegal activity.

"Hare coursing can be detrimental to the local farmers as they damage the land and impact their livelihoods.

"If you see any suspicious activity, report it to us immediately by calling 999 if a crime is in progress, or 101 for non-emergencies."
