PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WYMT) - In the second round of the Kentucky High School Football Playoffs. Pikeville knocked on Williamsburg, 56-18 .

The Panthers set the tone early in the game, thanks to an approximate 60-yard kickoff return by Cayden Newsome.

That was followed by the Yellow Jackets scoring off of a deep ball to Peyton Hamilton.

At that point, Pikeville led,7-6.

After trading a couple of blows defensively, Jayden Justice grew the Panthers lead, scoring a rushing touchdown from inside the five-yard line.

The Yellow Jackets are now 0-11 against Pikeville in their series.

Pikeville will host Middlesboro in the Region Final on Friday, Nov. 21.
